Contemporary country singer-songwriters, Bryce Sainty and Taylor Moss have teamed up for their next single. The track, titled Sunday Best, originally featured on Sainty’s EP, Hometown, but has been re-recorded with the addition of Moss’ vocals to make it a duet.

On May 20, Moss teased the collaboration, sharing an image in the studio with the caption, “Tracking something a little bit exciting! Hey, Bryce Sainty,” with an emoji of a monkey covering its mouth.

She later shared the cover art for the new single. Moss wrote, “Bryce Sainty asked me to sing on his next single Sunday Best. It’s such a beautiful song! We can’t wait to share this with you!!”

Sainty also revealed the news. He captioned, “For my next single I wanted to add something different and special, so I’ve teamed up with [Taylor Moss] for a special version of Sunday Best.”

In our exclusive Track by Track for his Hometown EP, Sainty described the outright unapologetic love song as a piano ballad with delicate lyrics and melody.

“This is by far my favourite song I have written. I wrote this with Rod McCormack and Sally Barris and to me, this song sums up why I wanted to switch from releasing individual singles to an EP,” Sainty shared. “I wanted to create music that really meant something to me, and I wanted to share not only the upbeat songs that I love releasing but also the kind of songs that make you fall in love with music and for me when we wrote this, I fell even further in love with music.”

Following the success of his 2018 breakout single, Never Going Back as well as Eleven Eleven, co-written with Morgan Evans, Sainty performed at the Tamworth Country Music Festival on the main stage as part of the huge 'Live and Loud' concert. He has also performed at some of Nashville’s most iconic venues including The Bluebird Café and The Listening Room Café.

The CMAA Academy of Country Music graduate was named an ‘artist to watch’ by Spotify in 2020, where he has over 2 million streams to his name. His 2020 catchy track, On The Weekend reached #11 on the Countrytown Hot 50 Country Airplay Chart, which followed the singles, Do You Remember, Never Going Back, Table For Two and Goodbye

He released Just Chillin’ in 2021 and also joined Kora Naughton on the duet Last This Summer, from her album, Nineteen. His current single, This Summer’s The One followed in early 2022, which peaked at #4 on the Countrytown Hot 50 Country Airplay Chart. Co-written with The Wolfe Brothers, the upbeat track showcased Sainty’s return to his country roots.

Moss first entered a recording studio at the age of 15 with her debut single Stuck In My Head in 2012, and has been travelling to Nashville once a year since she was 18. She got her break winning the Urban Country Music Festival talent quest in 2012 and was later named a finalist in the 2015 Toyota Star Maker competition at the Tamworth Country Music Festival. Her last three singles have racked up over 2.8 million streams

The Australian Country singer-songwriter’s recent single, Get It Girl, peaked at #1 on the Countrytown Hot 50 Country Airplay Chart. One for the ladies, the confessional, power anthem speaks of a different kind of unconditional love – the unspoken language and innate understanding shared between a woman and her girlfriends. Lyrically, the track celebrates the female relationships that have shaped, grounded, and comforted Moss through the highs and lows and have grown her into the person she is today.

Sunday Best is due for release on June 10.
