Travis Denning Marries Madison Montgomery in Romantic Tennessee Wedding

Travis Denning married Madison Montgomery on Saturday, May 20, after four years of dating. The couple tied the knot at The Estate at Cherokee Dock in Lebanon, Tennessee.

“Not a bad Saturday if I do say so myself,” Denning captioned on social media. While Montgomery simple wrote, “The Dennings.”

Montgomery, a social media specialist and the daughter of '90s country star John Michael Montgomery and sister of singer Walker Montgomery, wore a one-shouldered white gown with large veil and earrings for the big day, which has been in the works since Denning popped the question in New York City in October 2021.

Meanwhile, Denning looked dapper in a black suit, shoes and bowtie with a white shirt.

Denning told PEOPLE Montgomery took the lead on planning the wedding.

"There are obviously certain things where you make the decisions together, but when it comes to the aesthetics, that's all her. It's not that I don't have an opinion — it's that I know her opinion is going to be better than mine when it comes to that stuff! She's classy, she's got taste. I trust her on that," he said. “But I helped pick the food, which was fun. And the alcohol and the venue.”

Additionally, the couple’s first dance song was Your Song by Elton John. The wedding’s custom napkins also featured pictures of their cats Beaux and Millie.

The couple will honeymoon for ten days in Switzerland.

Montgomery wrote on Instagram. "Loving you is the easiest, most effortless thing I have ever done in my life. You are everything I have always searched for. Here’s to many more years full of adventures, laughter, and head-over-heels kinda love."

The couple first met at Loser’s Bar in Nashville in June 2018, when Montgomery asked Denning to pretend to be her boyfriend so she could avoid conversations with other men.

"I was like, 'She likes me. She likes me,'" said Denning. "Then I found out, 'Oh no she doesn't like me,' and then, like, eight months later, we finally started dating."

A native of Warner Robins, Georgia, Denning celebrated his first #1 and recently certified platinum single, After A Few. Accelerating his ascend from a chart-topping single, the song was taken from his debut EP Beer’s Better Cold that debuted in the Top 20 of Billboard’s Country Albums chart. He released the follow up EPs Dirt Road Down (2021) and Might As Well Be Me (2022).

Denning first made waves with the release of his Top 40 debut single David Ashley Parker From Powder Springs. He previously headlined his own Heartbeat Of A Small Town Tour and toured with Brothers Osborne, Cole Swindell, Dustin Lynch, Alan Jackson, Riley Green, Dierks Bentley, Ashley McBryde and Jake Owen. He also collaborated with HARDY and Josh Thompson in 2021 on the track Beer With My Buddies.

With almost 720 million streams worldwide, Denning has been spotlighted for his head-turning sound and was previously selected as one of CRS New Faces, an Opry NextStage recipient and a CMA KixStart Artist, as he makes his mark within the industry.
