Three-time Golden Guitar winners The Weeping Willows have started teasing their upcoming ticketed show for the 2024 Tamworth Country Music Festival, hyping up “lots of exciting collaborations” before the concert takes place.

“There will be lots of exciting collaborations at our Tamworth Country Music Festival show,” The Weeping Willows wrote on Facebook on Friday (10 November).

The concert takes place on Thursday, 25 January, from 2 until 4 pm at the Capitol Theatre Tamworth.

Revealing a who’s who of country, blues and folk artists joining them in early 2024, The Weeping Willows continued, “Featuring very special guests Allan Caswell, Allison Forbes, Brad Butcher, Gretta Ziller, Kristy Cox, Lachlan Bryan, Lynchburg, Riley Catherall plus Dan Webster & Emily Lawler (UK). Not to be missed!”

Tickets are on sale now – you can purchase them here.

In January, Countrytown named The Weeping Willows’ 2022 album, You Reap What You Sow, one of the best country albums of the year. The album debuted at #3 on the iTunes Country Albums Chart and was also considered for a ‘Best Folk Album’ GRAMMY nomination. No easy feat, HUGE for the award-winning couple, and nothing short of displaying their obvious untapped stardom potential.

Andrew Wrigglesworth (guitar, banjo, vocals) and Laura Coates (lead vocals) regale their audiences with stories of sunshine and romance, the lost and the lonely, the heartsick and the harried, God and The Devil, murder, and decay, as boasted in tracks such as Black Crow, Singin’ The Blues, House Of Sin and more.

One of the highlights of the 2024 edition of Tamworth Country Music Festival is Beccy Cole leading the rare show, Orchestral Country, alongside Aussie country music legends Adam Harvey, Fanny Lumsden, Brooke McClymont & Adam Eckersley, Felicity Urquhart & Josh Cunningham, and Amber Lawrence.

The festival will also star non-country artists like The Screaming Jets, Kate Ceberano, Daryl Braithwaite, and rockers Kingswood and Ian Moss. In terms of country, though, Tamworth is unsurprisingly stacked, with the event booking Kasey ChambersTroy Cassar-Daley, Casey Barnes, Lee Kernaghan, John Williamson, Loren Ryan, Ashleigh Dallas, Shane Nicholson, and many more.

Tamworth Country Music Festival will return from 19 – 28 January 2024, with the new-look Toyota Tamworth Country Music Parade scheduled for Saturday, 27 January.

There will be lots of ✨exciting collaborations✨ at our Tamworth Country Music Festival show! 💃🕺 Thursday 25th January...
