The National Hotel & Pub, located on Gordon River Road in National Park, Tasmania, has revealed the line-up for the first-ever Tassie Music Muster, sending country music to devoted fans in an often-neglected part of Australia when it comes to live music.

The Wolfe Brothers headline the inaugural event, followed by Andrew Swift, Duncan Toombs, Mike Carr, Max Jackson, Ange Boxall, and Zack Walsh. The National Hotel & Pub contains a garden and picnic area, with live music hitting the venue for mini-festival and solo headline events.

Pre-sale tickets are available now via Oztix, with camping options also available.

Upon announcing the event yesterday (27 September), event organisers wrote on Facebook, “We’re thrilled to announce the epic artist lineup for the inaugural Tassie Music Muster!!! Get ready to discover sensational Australian Country Music Artists who will be hitting the stage!”

After mentioning ticketing, organisers added, “Spread the word to all the country music lovers out there! Let’s make the inaugural Tassie Music Muster a memorable one!”

It’s a busy time for The Wolfe Brothers, who lead the punchy second artist announcement for Groundwater Country Music Festival, joining Lee Kernaghan, Casey Barnes, US country star Jackson Dean and Amber Lawrence, Adam Harvey & Beccy Cole, Caitlyn Shadbolt, Melissa Carper, Tori Forsyth, the birthday boy Matt Cornell, recent KIX Country Centre Stage star Chloe Styler and many more.

Earlier this year, Andrew Swift went track by track with Countrytown, breaking down each song on his latest LP, Lightning Strikes & Neon Nights.

“I’m very excited about sharing this next chapter of my career with everyone. This record is, overall, more upbeat than my previous albums, spending more time on electric guitar than acoustic,” Swift revealed in a press release. “The title, Lightning Strikes & Neon Nights, is a great way to summarise this collection of songs. The ‘Lightning Strikes’ are the stories about finding moments of love and romance while the ‘Neon Nights’ are more influenced by a good night out.”
