If you were worried about experiencing major FOMO while one of the world’s hottest country music festivals, Stagecoach, rages in the US this month – think again. Media giant Amazon has been announced as the exclusive streaming destination for this year’s festival, bringing the likes of Luke Bryan, Kane Brown, Chris Stapleton, Brooks & Dunn, Elle King and more to our screens via Prime Video and Amazon Music’s Twitch Channel.

Held on the weekend of April 28-30, Stagecoach is basically Coachella but for country music fans - even taking place at the same grounds in Indio, California after Coachella hosts there for the two weekends prior. The line-up is world-class: ZZ Top, Lainey Wilson, Melissa Etheridge, Bryan Adams, Nelly, Breland and more - and you could be able to enjoy all the action from the comfort of your own home. Stagecoach and Amazon haven’t yet confirmed which sets will be streamed but Luke Bryan, Kane Brown and Chris Stapleton are each headlining the mainstage across the three nights so we can safely assume they’ll be beamed across the world.

Amazon will also have loads of exclusive content including live interviews with the artists backstage and previously unreleased songs from artists such as Breland and Yellowstone’s Luke Grimes. If you haven’t made plans for the last weekend of April and you can’t afford the last-minute flights and tickets, this live stream promises to be the next best thing.

Live streaming of concerts and festivals is steadily becoming more and more mainstream as the technology evolves and the demand for stay-at-home entertainment increases. This year’s Tamworth Country Music Festival Toyota Park events were streamed across their socials so that fans who were unable to attend could still get a taste of the action. Perhaps it’s only a matter of time before Amazon catches wind of our epic CMC Rocks, Deni Ute Muster, Groundwater etc. and streams some of our homegrown talent to the rest of the world.
