Shannon Noll has joined forces with Australian airline Jetstar for a festive new ad, 12 Days of Jetsmas, as we’ve launched into December.

Re-working the classic 12 Days of Christmas carol with a local Aussie twist, Noll and Jetstar have shared a video of the singer strolling down a beach, shirtless and wearing a Santa Claus hat, clearly in the spirit of giving this festive season.

The first day of Jetsmas offers up a “cocktail and a palm tree”, with Shannon ‘Noel’ then going for two manta rays, three pinot noirs, four four-wheel-drives, five Tom Yum soups, six beach clubs pumping, seven families swimming, eight mates-a-hiking, nine bowls-o-kimchi, ten banh mis crackling, eleven blossoms blooming, and twelve surfers surfing. You can check out the amusing video below.

More than 300 domestic and international flights will be given away during the first 12 days of December.

On working with Jetstar, Noll said in a statement, per B And T, “I’ve had a tonne of fun working with Jetstar – it’s been a blast to create a classic pub rock version of the timeless Christmas song that we all know and love. I hope Aussies have a laugh listening to it, and I can’t wait to see who’ll win the giant prize at the end.”

Whoever wins, unlike Noll, will hopefully still have their clothes. We can tell it’s a Jetstar ad because he lost his shirt – allegedly due to baggage handling. We’re surprised the ad wasn’t cancelled, but it seems the ad has arrived on time and that cuts to maintenance have not impacted Noll’s six-pack.

Yesterday – the fourth day of Christmas – Noll was added to the 2024 Gympie Music Muster line-up, joining the likes of Beccy Cole, Brad Cox, Lee Kernaghan, James Johnston, Kaylee Bell, Tex Perkins (performing as The Man In Black), and Graeme Connors.

In 2022, Shannon Noll competed on Channel 10’s The Masked Singer Australia as the Blowfly and subsequently released the single Take Me Away. Noll released his most recent song, the uplifting Believe It, earlier this year.
