Old Dominion Singer Injured In ATV Accident

Old Dominion frontman Matthew Ramsey has been involved in an ATV (all-terrain vehicle) accident, which has led to the postponement of several U.S. dates on their No Bad Vibes Tour.

Ramsey shared on social media, “Well friends, I’m afraid I have some disappointing news. I was in an ATV accident that has left my pelvis fractured in three places. The good news is it’s gonna heal just fine. The bad news is I’m gonna have to stay home and recover for a little while.”

“I know we all had plans to sing and dance together in Key West. I was looking forward to that so much! We will make it up to you! I promise we’ll keep you updated on my recovery and any other shows that might be affected. This tour has been such a blast so far this year and before you know it I’ll be back out there with No Bad Vibes! Love you all. - m”

Old Dominion’s three performances at the Coffee Butler Amphitheater in Key West, Florida this weekend will be rescheduled for March 22, 23, and 24, 2024, respectively.

The award-winning group captioned, “If you had tickets for the rescheduled shows, you don’t need to do anything. Your current ticket will be honoured for the 2024 shows. For instance, if you are holding a ticket for Friday, March 31, 2023, that ticket will be honoured for the rescheduled show on Friday, March 22, 2024. If you are unable to make the 2024 shows, full refunds will be offered at point of purchase for the next 30 days. Stay tuned for updates regarding future shows.”

The next scheduled tour date, according to their website, is April 13 at Santander Arena in Reading, Pennsylvania, supported by Frank Ray, Greylan James and Kassi Ashton.

The band is currently on tour promoting their latest EP Memory Lane (Sampler), which features Easier Said With Run, Ain’t Got A Worry and Freedom Like You as well as the title track, which currently sits at #24 on the Countrytown Hot 50 Country Airplay Chart.

The accompanying music video was directed by Mason Allen and Nicki Fletcher.

“Memory Lane has already become such a special song for us,” Ramsey shared in a statement. “This is one of the most ambitious videos we’ve ever put out as we took a different approach in telling our story visually. There are so many memories and very personal touches intertwined in the visuals.”

Old Dominion consists of lead singer Matthew Ramsey, lead guitarist Brad Tursi, multi-instrumentalist Trevor Rosen, bassist Geoff Sprung and drummer Whit Sellers.
