Morgan Evans has announced the final Australian tour dates in support of his EP Life Upside Down, with five regional shows squeezed between his appearances at the John Fogerty-headlined Country Fest QLD and the 2024 Muster at Perth’s Rodeo and Music Festival.

The Nashville-based Australian country star will return home for a bunch of concerts for fans who haven’t had the opportunity to see him for a while.

The Life Upside Down tour begins at Gold Coast’s HOTA Theatre on Tuesday, 2 April, before trekking to Toowoomba’s Empire Theatre on Thursday, 4 April, Geelong’s Costa Hall on Saturday, 6 April, and Bendigo’s Ulumbarra Theatre on Sunday, 7 April, before wrapping up at Hobart’s Odeon Theatre on Wednesday, 10 April. You can watch Evans’ video tour announcement below.

Tickets to the tour, presented by Chugg EntertainmentPotts Entertainment and Frontier Touring, go on sale on Tuesday, 6 February, at noon local time. Pre-sale tickets will be available the day before at 11 am local time. You can find tickets to Evans’ tour via the Frontier Touring website.

Evans has been on the road for a while, but that hasn’t stopped him from releasing (and collaborating on) new music. 2023 saw Evans duet with Australian pop singer Kita Alexander on her track Date Night and putting his own spin on the John Denver tune Thank God She’s A Country Girl. As the festive season approached, he released a new instant classic, Christmas In The Backyard.

Morgan Evans kicked off the new year by announcing that he’d release a live album recorded at the Sydney Opera House last year.

Detailing the imperfections of the recording, Evans said he’s proud of the “real” feeling captured.

He wrote in an Instagram post, “It feels like we captured the end of an era. And I’m extremely excited that the winding road of the Life Upside Down era has led me here, well and truly right-side-up, and ready for the next one to begin.”
