Morgan Evans Adds Three Additional Australian Shows To ‘Life Upside Down’ Tour

With multiple sold out shows and incredible demand, Morgan Evans has added three new dates to his anticipated Life Upside Down Australia and New Zealand tour this August and September.

Evans will now play a mammoth thirteen shows across the country, with second nights in Brisbane and Newcastle, along with a stop in Canberra just added to the tour.

Kicking off at Brisbane’s Fortitude Music Hall on Thursday 31 August, Evans will continue through Canberra Theatre on Saturday 2 September, playing a second hometown show at Newcastle Civic Theatre on Tuesday 5 September after the first show completely sold out.

The Life Upside Down Tour will then head to Auckland on Thursday 7 September, returning to Australia for performances in Brisbane, Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth. During the run, Evans will make his Sydney Opera House debut on Tuesday 12 September and Wednesday 13 September.

Evans wrote on social media, “Australia! We’re adding 3 more shows to the Aussie leg of the Life Upside Down Tour!!! I read all your comments and messages and by far the most have come from Canberra, Brisbane and my hometown Newcastle. So, these shows are for you! Lets’ go! 🐪✌️”

Evans will be joined by 2x Golden Guitar winner, James Johnston. A local boy from Wingham, NSW, Johnston has had a mammoth 2 years performing on some of country music's biggest stages at CMC Rocks QLD and Tamworth Country Music Festival, as well as topping the CountryTown Hot 50 airplay chart.

Johnston said, “I’ve known Morgan since I was around 10 years old and he has been a huge inspiration to me on my ride so I’m pumped to be getting to hit the road with him!”

Johnston will be performing on all dates excluding Sydney Opera House.

Evans returns to Australia just a year on from his spectacular CMC Rocks QLD 2022 appearance, which saw him headline the sold-out event alongside Kane Brown and Brad Paisley. He also joined Paisley on his Australia and New Zealand tour along with MacKenzie Porter.
