Taylor Swift brought out Maren Morris for a surprise duet of You All Over Me during the latest stop on her Eras Tour in Chicago, Illinois.

Both artists sang and played acoustic guitar on the track, which was originally included on the 2021’s Fearless (Taylor’s Version).

“Tonight, I’m going to play a song I’ve never played live before so that’s fun,” Swift said. “When I was a teenager, that was when I decided it was really important for me to own my artwork and music. So, this is by definition a passion project [and] something an artist does because it’s personal to them.” She then thanked the crowd for supporting the re-record initiative from the very beginning. “It was the most generous, supportive thing ever, so thank you from the bottom of my heart forever for that.”

She continued, “When I was re-recording Fearless, I thought it would be so cool to have one of my favourite artists sing on one of the songs, and we are so lucky, Chicago, because not only did that artist say yes to sing on the song, Maren Morris is here tonight.”

Morris previously made a guest appearance during Swift’s Reputation Tour in 2018.

Morris later shared on Instagram, “We finally got to play You All Over Me and I won’t ever be shutting up about it. Love you @taylorswift and love you always, Chicago.”

In addition to hitting the stage with Swift, Morris got to enjoy the show alongside her husband, Ryan Hurd, who joined her in the audience.

So far, the Eras tour has featured surprise appearances from long-time collaborators Jack Antonoff and Aaron Dessner, her rumoured boyfriend Matty Healy, tour opener Phoebe Bridgers, Marcus Mumford, and Ice Spice, the latter of whom also guests on the remix of Swift’s latest single, Karma.
