Jade Holland Ties The Knot In Rural Queensland

Country-pop singer-songwriter, Jade Holland married her partner of five years, Chad Pay at the Goomeri Caravan and Bush Camp over the weekend. The 300-acre venue located 2.5 hours outside of Brisbane features an animal farm, dams where you can go canoeing or swimming, walking trails, bird watching opportunities, bike trails, camping and picnic areas.   

Holland looked stunning in a white ‘Jackson’ gown by Rue De Seine with veil, while Pay handsomely donned a tan jacket with colourful tie and black pants. Additionally, hair was by Moon Townsville, make up by Kat Logan, flowers by Beachmere Collee Florist and photography by Josephine Carter. The wedding included custom hats by Burnt Brims, cowboy boots and personalised glassware.

Holland captured on social media, “Congrats on being stuck with me forever!”

Surrounded by family and friends, Pay proposed to Holland in November 2021 on a boat at sunset at Nara Inlet at Airlie Beach in Queensland. The moment was captioned in photos and shared on social media.

Holland wrote, “In true Jade style…. I always forget to live in the moment… I’m always pushing and looking forward instead of realising the magic that just happened. I still cannot believe that I found someone who wants to spend the rest of their life with me (crazy I know) I never ever thought I’d meet this gorgeous human. I was incredibly unlucky in love for a very long time, and I was starting to believe that I wasn’t worthy of love or being loved, then this incredible guy with the world’s biggest heart walked into my life showed me that I was wrong! I do deserve love. I do deserve to be loved.”

She continued, “If you asked me 3 years ago if I could see myself finding my forever human I would have laughed and told you that you were dreaming!  Am incredibly blessed. Ok enough soppiness! Check out my ugly crying, I think I nailed it!”

Holland gushed about Pay a week before the wedding and how lucky she is.

“This might sound like a sad reality for me, but it has a happy ending: For so long I truly believed that I was unlovable,” she captioned. “Deep in my soul I believed that I could not be loved! I believed that my career was too hard for someone to support. I believed that there was something wrong with me and always questioned what I could change or who I could become to make myself better for someone else… and then I met [Chad]. You love me for me it’s that simple.”
