Dolly Parton Reveals She Has A Secret Project That She Won't Release Till She's 99

On a recent episode of The Kelly Clarkson Show, queen of country Dolly Parton admitted that she has a secret song locked in a time capsule that won't be released until she turns 99 years old. 

Kicking off the talk show, host Kelly Clarkson asked the country star if it was true that she wrote a secret song that nobody else has ever heard, that lives in a time capsule. 

Parton replied: "Yes, and that has drove me crazy!”

Explaining further, she says, "I have written a song that nobody’s going to hear ’til I’m 99 years old and I might be there, I might not be, but it’s when we did Dollywood, we reworked that, and we put it in a time capsule to be, you know, to be opened.

"You have no idea how much that has bothered me! I wanna go dig up that song cause it's a really good song!

"I don't know whose damn idea that was," she says with a sly grin. 

We can help but agree with Parton that releasing it sooner rather than later might be the best bet for the secret song.

Parton recently shocked fans again when she announced that she had joined the video sharing platform Tik-Tok. 

Her first clip on TikTok is a montage of the greatest Dolly Parton videos with Nine To Five soundtracking the post. She captioned her first TikTok: "I have arrived!" with #heyitsdolly and #dollytok hashtags.
