In partnership between the CMAA, Sister Cities Nashville and Mason Guitars Australia, a recent CMAA Academy of Country Music graduate will be given the opportunity to go to Nashville for three weeks.

The lucky graduate will be granted writing and performance opportunities organised by Sister Cities, APRA AMCOS and the 100-strong ex-pat community living and working in Nashville. The chosen graduate will also be involved with Sounds Australia events as part of the iconic Americana Music Association Americanafest.

More information on how graduates can apply will be available through the CMAA soon.

Through generous donation, Maton have gifted an SRS60C Acoustic Guitar with hard case (valued at $2500) for an online raffle that will help cover the travel costs of the selected graduate. Tickets available here. The winner will be drawn on Monday, March 27 at 5pm.

2023 Toyota Star Maker winner, Loren Ryan said, “What an incredible opportunity here how valuable 3 weeks will be with some of the best songwriters in the business and return home with gold.” Briana Dinsdale added, “Wow. Love this. Everyone is so deserving of heading over there. Thanks Academy and Maton for bringing this opportunity for a very talented individual.”
