Chris Stapleton appears on P!nk’s new album, Trustfall on the emotionally charged closing track, Just Say I'm Sorry.

Stapleton and P!nk previously collaborated on the 2019 duet Love Me Anyway from her eighth studio album Hurts 2B Human. Released as the fourth and final single from the album, Love Me Anyway was written by P!nk, Allen Shamblin and Tom Douglas. It peaked at #20 on the US Billboard Adult Top 40 and #52 on the US Billboard Country Airplay Chart.

Stapleton and P!nk also performed the song at the 53rd CMC Awards in 2019.

Speaking with ET’s Cassie DiLaura on the red carpet before the show, P!nk gushed, "He's my person. He's my favourite voice today in music, and I just love him. I can't believe he said yes [to being on the song]. Truly, he's the most amazing songwriter, he's the most amazing human. I love his family, they're so kind and humble. He loves music and he loves to collaborate, so, here I am."

Also, after Stapleton joined P!nk for one of the final U.S. shows of her Beautiful Trauma World Tour in 2019, she captioned on Instagram, “One of my absolute favourite songwriters, favourite voice, and person. Chris Stapleton. What an absolute honour to share a stage with you, my friend. 'Love me Anyway'.”

P!nk previously teamed up with another country music artist, Kenny Chesney on Setting The World On Fire, taken from his 2016 album Cosmic Hallelujah.
