Adam Brand is set to headline this year’s Nude Up Australia Festival. Scheduled from Thursday, January 26 to Sunday, January 29 in Scenic Rim, South East Queensland, the four-day festival (where clothing is optional) will also see Matt Cornell, Liam Brew, Tori Darke, Jeremy Turner, Keegan J Sparkle, Sister Mister, Contraband and the Mulhoons Band perform.

Brand will be performing on the Boot Skootin’ Friday night (January 27), which coincides with his 53rd birthday.

“Come celebrate my birthday. I’ll be probably in my birthday suit… I dunno, Will I? Won’t I?”, Brand says sheepishly in a social media video recorded in a hot tub surrounded by rubber duckies. “Will the band? I don’t know. The guitarists aren’t too bad because obviously they’re covering up things, you know, but we’ll see what happens. Who doesn’t like to be nude, right?”

According to the website, Nude Up Australia Festival began from humble family beginnings.

“As a family that has been living the nudist lifestyle for quite some years, we are passionate about the lifestyle and wanted to do something that brings the community together. Something to celebrate the freedom that nudism brings, an inclusive community, with a focus on body positivity. So, we decided to create an epic event that see’s like-minded people coming together to celebrate self-freedom, mind clarity, a positive body image and fun,” writes Australian Naturists Federation (ANF) committee member, Josh Smith on behalf of The Smith Family and The Nude Up Australia team.
