Soul by Lee Brice – Song of the Day

Our Song of the Day is the upbeat and danceable Soul by Lee Brice.

Written by Kevin Kadish and Tony Ferrari, Soul is about finding someone special and having a connection so deep, you want to celebrate it.

Lee says, “The idea that our souls truly connect to each other in unexplainable ways has always been at the core of what I do as a musician, a writer, a producer, and a singer… and I think it’s a good reminder to keep with me every day.”

Directed by Justin Clough and Chase Lauer, the video shares a pivotal moment of two "souls" solidifying a lifetime partnership and celebrating that human connection.  

Lee adds, “We had a ball, with every aspect of this song, finding it, (thank you, JR), hearing it the first time, recording it, singing it, mixing it, shooting the video, all of it. I feel like Hey World is my most diverse and at the same time cohesive record I’ve ever made. We have fun songs to mix in with the heavier ones and I couldn’t be happier with how this track turned out.”

Soul is the latest single from his highly acclaimed album, Hey World, which has been on the ARIA Country Albums Top 40 Chart for 66 weeks, peaking at #7 and currently at number 19.

Lee has released five studio albums to date and eighteen singles – including three that have earned him ACM Awards. He also won a CMA Award in 2020 for ‘Musical Event Of The Year’ for I Hope You’re Happy Now with Carly Pearce. Lee has also co-written singles for artists like Garth Brooks, Jason Aldean, Tim McGraw and the Eli Young Band.
