More Taryn Papa More Taryn Papa

With recent releases Persuaded, Changed and Mercy, a Shawn Mendes cover with fellow The Voice alum Josh Gallagher, Taryn Papa has been met with positive responses from fans and media alike and has also received support on Spotify’s Next From Nashville and Young Nashville playlists.

Recently, her rapidly growing fanbase instantly connected with an Instagram Reel she shared of her fiancé, quickly garnering viral numbers of over 18.6 million views and counting. The Connecticut native has worked tirelessly at Nashville’s greatest downtown stages as one of the few females fronting a band on lower Broadway.

Her bright and captivating personality has captured the hearts of millions with not only her polished vocal range, but also her ability to bring a fresh perspective on romance to life with her thought-provoking and highly relatable lyrics.

Since the day she arrived in Nashville, she has shown just how dedicated and driven she is to be making her own mark in Music City. With a string of impressive singles under her belt and more music on the way, the future looks very promising for the emerging star.

We caught up with Taryn Papa to find out what songs she’s been listening to for this week’s Front Deck Boom Box.

1. Heartfirst - Kelsea Ballerini

This feels like the night I met my fiancé. I picture our story with her words. Heartfirst is a fun way to show how excited you are at the potential of finding your forever love. How much you don’t care about falling “too soon” or “too fast” and just jumping right in! Willing to put your brain aside to let your heart lead! I love it!

2. Bed on Fire - Teddy Swims and Ingrid Andress

I am a sucker for a slow song with vivid imagery and a gut-wrenching story line. I absolutely love this version featuring Ingrid Andress. It adds a really cool element to the song! The power that love can have over someone is wild. The feeling you would want your world to stop if they ever left, is so real.

3. Right on Time - Lindsay Ell

I totally relate to this song. When I turned 30, it seemed like everyone I knew was dating someone, getting engaged, married, having a baby, and I was just floating in the wind chasing my dreams wondering "what about me?” Trust the journey, stay the path, live each day to the fullest, and it will all turn out better than you could have ever imagined!

4. All Yours, All Night - Russell Dickerson

All Yours, All Night by Russell Dickerson is a dream song for me. I am in a long-distance relationship, and I can’t wait for the day my fiancé comes home to me after work! There is no quitting time when it comes to lovin on your person “All yours, all night!" I think that this song captures that so beautifully.

5. Grand - Kane Brown

This song reminds me of when I started chasing my dreams. All of the high and low moments. It took years to learn how to separate hearing “no” professionally to my music didn’t mean they didn't like me personally. This song is a friendly reminder that I am doing what I love surrounded by those I love, and that's Grand!
