Our Song of the Day is Wild by Canadian country music artist, Kendra Kay. Co-written by Carly Pearce, along with Jeff Pardo and Molly Reed, Kendra collaborated with a new creative team on this single that includes Ryley Dawson and Roger Medina.

Wild kicks off a series of new releases and announcements set for 2022, which includes songs written by artists like Maren Morris, Ryan Hurd, Meghan Patrick and Patria Conroy.

Kendra says, “It’s about your first love and falling hard, which I think people will be able to relate to. For people that have been in relationships for many years, they’ll be able to go back in time, where they finally gave in to the person they were with. In that sense, I think it’s a pretty open-ended song that many people will be able to relate to.”

Kendra is known for her powerhouse vocals, down to earth personality and high energy shows. Although she has released two EPs Broken (2014) and More To Me (2018) – which have amassed over half a million streams – she made her debut radio release in the Australian market with her previous single Steady.
