Walls by Bryan Lanning - Song Of The Day

Bryan Lanning is a California based country singer/songwriter. Our Song of the Day is his newest single, Walls.

Co-written with Daniel Martin, who also produced it, the idea for Walls came when Bryan and his wife, Missy had decided to sell their house. When Covid hit, they took their house off the market (they've since sold) and discovered a newfound appreciation for all they'd built and the memories they had made there.

Bryan says, “This song is pretty bittersweet for me, because while it celebrates the house that built me and family, it's also coming out a week after we're leaving the home we've raised our boys in for over 5 years now.”

Bryan’s music fan base has grown exponentially thanks to the success of the popular YouTube channel that he shares with his wife and sons Oliver and Finley. Daily Bumps started in 2012 and the first video was uploaded in 2013. Through this channel, the Lanning family vlog about their lives – including moving out – to their over 5 million subscribers.

Inspired by artists like Sam Hunt, Rascal Flatts and Justin Timberlake, Bryan wrote and released his first song This Is Home in 2015. He made his country music debut with his four-song EP Illegal, released at the beginning of 2020. The EP debuted at #7 on the iTunes Country Album Charts and blends his 90s country rock influence with coastal beach vibes. Bryan followed that up with the release of his 12-track album, Same Town mid last year.

His next EP titled, Going Home is set for release on April 16.
