Wake Me Up by Avicii re-imagined by Hinterland - Song Of The Day

Queensland three-piece Hinterland have delivered a fresh, country spun re-imagining of the dance-pop hit Wake Me Up by Avicii. CountryTown is excited to make the track today's Song Of The Day.

Bursting onto the Australian country scene in April, Robbie and Rachel Bostock along with Jesse Emmanuel joined together as Hinterland.

As three individuals Hinterland are some of the most decorated musicians and songwriters in Australia. Rachel is one of the most revered violinists in Australia and a 3 time Golden Fiddle Award winner. Robbie just recently won a National Songwriting Award for an original instrumental, and Jesse has an APRA Songwriter Award under her belt.

So far, Hinterland as a group have smashed into the Australian country radio top 10 with both their debut single In The Hinterland and sophomore Turbulence! We're really excited to see Wake Me Up make the same journey!

Hinterland are set to release their debut EP 'Loud' on Friday, November 6. The EP features singles In The Hinterland, Turbulence and Wake Me Up, as well as two new tracks and acoustic version of In The Hinterland.
