Recorded as Roundhead Studios in Auckland, with mixing by Clint Murphy in the UK and mastering by Ryan Smith at Sterling Sound in Nashville, the track was written in a session with Somin Oscroft and Henry Beasley.

She was also one half of the duo The Manuka Set with Deep Obsession’s Vanessa Kelly.

After going solo in 2019, Miranda recorded her debut album, Behind Unbroken Strings (released in 2021) at Roundhead Studios in Auckland with world renowned producer Greg Haver, along with Auckland-based musicians Tom Healy, Cass Basil, Stephen Small and Mark Hughes.

In 2020, Miranda was a semi-finalist in the International Songwriting Competition ‘Unsigned Only’ (ISC). She also featured on the Voices of Country compilation album released by Compass FM that year. Her releases Cowboy Lullaby and Country Boy reached number 16 and 25 respectively on the Official Top 40 Country Music Chart in Australia. We premiered the latter here.

The music video has also achieved success in America, airing on the popular Country Music Network which reaches 40 million people. Nashville Country Television and networks CMC, CMT, MTV, Heartland, as well as closed circuit television on cruise liners, casinos and hotels have aired the clip. Miranda is also now the host of Plains Country, a weekly live radio show on Plains FM as she works on her second album. The new tune, and first taste of the record, will lean towards the pop end of country music by being more upbeat and expansive.
