More Taylor Swift More Taylor Swift

Taylor Swift is continuing to smash record after record with her latest album 'folklore' retaining the top sport of the Billboard 200 chart for the fourth week, making it the first album by a female artist to do so in five years.

The record was previously held by pop sensation Adele with her 2015 album '25', however Adele held on to the top spot for seven consecutive weeks and its yet to be seen whether Swift can do the same.

If 'folklore' continues its epic march at the top of the charts next week, Swift will dethrone Drake's 2018 album 'Scorpion' as the most recent album to lead the charts for five consecutive weeks.

At this stage, 'folklore' is already Swift's most successful release on the charts with previous albums 'Red', '1989' and 'Speak Now' spending only three weeks in the top position.
