You may have seen it performed on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! Australia … or listened it over and over again, as it shot to #1 on the iTunes charts across all genres. Star Of The Show by Brooke McClymont & Adam Eckersley is our Song of the Day.

They married couple wrote on social media, “We’re super excited to share this new song Star Of The Show with you all, it’s a special one to both of us as it’s the first song we’ve co-written with our daughter Tiggy. Tiggy came up with the head riff on piano and we fell in love with it, so on our next song writing session with Arizona Dan Biederman, we got Tiggy to teach him the piano riff and we all wrote this one together. We have written it from Tiggy’s point of view. We think she is a star, and we hope you love it as much as we do.”

You may recognise Brooke as one-third of the top-selling award-winning Australian country music trio The McClymonts. With over 175k album sales, 2 x ARIA Awards, 11 x Golden Guitar Awards, 1 x CMA (USA) Award, 1 x APRA Award and 4 x #1 ARIA Country Albums, The McClymonts are a dominant female group in Australian Country Music with major success from hits such as Kick it up, Wrapped up good and I’ve got this.

Adam has won 2 Golden Guitar Awards: the first in 2015 for ‘New Talent of the Year’ and then in 2016 in the category ‘Group or Duo of the Year’ for his group the Adam Eckersley Band. Their debut album The First Album debuted Top 5 on ARIA Country Chart with The Second Album debuting #7 on the ARIA Country Chart. Adam was also recognised for his songwriting winning the APRA Award for Country Work of the Year (2015) and an Honourable Mention in the International Songwriting Competition in 2014.

In 2018, the duo paired to release their debut album Adam & Brooke, which charted at number one on the ARIA Country Album chart. It was later nominated for four Golden Guitar Awards and an ARIA Award. Star Of The Show is the first single from their forthcoming highly anticipated follow-up album.

They will commence their Roll On Baby Australia Tour this February.
