Song Of The Day: Chris Stapleton - Starting Over

Chris Stapleton is announcing his new album 'Start Over' will be released on Friday, November 12. To celebrate, CountryTown is making the title track, released earlier this week, the Song Of The Day!

According to Rolling Stone, 'Starting Over' will feature 14 songs, 11 of which are brand-new track and three covers; John Fogerty's Joy Of My Life, Worry B Gone by Tom Petty & the Hearbreakers and Guy Clark's Old Friends.

Chris Stapleton recorded at the album at his self-described 'second home' of Nashville's classic RCA Studio A. The Kentucky singer assembled an Averngers-styled crew from his long career.

At the top of credits is Stapleton's wife, Morgane Stapleton, as a back-up singer. Stapleton's long-time collaborate Dave Cobb produced the album. Legendary pedal steel player Paul Franklin also lends his guitar, J.T Cure plays bass and Derek Mixon on drums.

Starting over is the first solo new music we've heard from Chris Stapleton since his 2017 album 'From A Room, Vol. 1 and Vol. 2'. The star has shared a number of exciting collaborations over the last year with names including Bruno Mars and Sheryl Crow.
