Right On Down by Andrew Swift proves love is simple – Video Premiere

Right On Down

Two time Golden Guitar winner Andrew Swift continues to go from strength to strength. His latest single Right On Down and accompanying music video is no different.

The song and the video pours Swift’s love of family into a near three minute montage of good vibes.

“When I was trying to think of what we could do for a music video to accompany Right On Down. I didn’t realise that we were about to be living under stage 4 lockdown restrictions in Victoria. I rang Brock Daubert (Bear Bones Studios) to see if we could make some sort of home video compilation work. We reached out to a bunch of friends and family asking them to send loving family moments.” Said Andrew

“I’m so glad we took this route. Not only did it make for a music video full of good vibes and smiles, but it also gave me something I didn’t know I needed. Seeing those home videos of people I love come in over a few weeks really helped me through some of the tougher days during the Melbourne lockdown period.”

The song itself is a pretty simple affair; a light and uplifting arpeggio is played throughout the whole song and the chorus is an easy to sing back couple of bars. The simplicity really gets to the heart of what country music and life so wonderful; its the small things that matter.
