The Countrytown Music Network Hot 50 chart is back for a brand new year, with a third week at #1 for Southbound songstress Rachael Fahim. Her new single Middle Ground took the top spot in the last chart of 2021 while the world was already in Summer mode, but has kept hold across the break.

Some new tracks in the top 20 as well as Hinterland, Eric Church and Golden Guitar performer Fanny Lumsden join the party at the top of the list. We also see brand new entries to the chart this week from Cass Hopetoun, Chase Rice, Sam Hunt and Taylor Moss.

The fastest mover of the week is Andy Golledge who jumps from #40 up to #29 with ‘Ghost of Love’. Tracks from Davisson Brothers Band, Travis Collins, Seaforth, Morgan Wallen, Benny Allen and Emmagen Rain also re-enter the list.

With radio still largely on summer break, the competition is set to heat up over the coming weeks, so stay tuned to Countrytown for all the action!
