If you spend enough time on social media, there’s a good chance you’ll come across the bombshell revelation that Reba McEntire is leaving The Voice to dedicate all her time to a higher calling: shilling out multivitamin gummies for weight loss... Except, uh... She’s totally not doing that.

Unfortunately, for those who have fallen prey to this hilariously bad online scam, McEntire is decidedly not throwing the weight her country music stardom behind endorsing some Haribozempic bullshit. She’s even called the scammers out on social media, imploring fans to report any posts related to it.

“Please do not click on any articles that say I am leaving The Voice,” she wrote. “This is not true. These are fake websites to lure people in with clickbait where they claim I have a company to sell weight loss gummy products. This is false. I do not sell or promote any type of gummy product. Please report these posts if you see them on Facebook or Instagram.”

So what is McEntire up to these days? Well, as she pointed out, she’s still shining as a coach on The Voice, having taken over from longtime favourite Blake Shelton just a little under a year ago. Season 25 is her second in the role, and it started airing Stateside on Monday (February 26).

Last year also saw McEntire drop her 33rd studio album, Not That Fancy, alongside a book of the same name. And earlier this month, she sang the US national anthem at Super Bowl LVIII.
