Shania Twain’s touring crew have been through a terrifying ordeal, with members of her production team hospitalised following a bus crash between shows in Canada.

People reports that the That Don’t Impress Me Much singer wasn’t in any of the vehicles when the incident occurred. The accident happened on a freeway between Winnipeg and Saskatoon – Twain performed in Winnipeg on Tuesday (7 November) during her Queen Of Me tour.

In a statement, Twain’s management company, Maverick Management, told People: “One crew bus and one truck from the Shania Twain - Queen Of Me tour were involved in a highway accident driving between Winnipeg and Saskatoon.

“Multiple vehicles encountered dangerous driving conditions due to inclement weather. Members of the production crew who require medical attention have been taken to nearby hospitals.”

Maverick Management's spokesperson thanked local emergency teams “for their quick response and ongoing support.” The statement concluded, “We ask for patience as we look after our touring family.”

Twain’s Queen Of Me tour has also featured some pleasant surprises, such as the Canadian country music icon joining Foo Fighters at Austin City Limits Festival for a rendition of the rockers’ classic tune, Best Of You.

“This was one off the bucket list for me,” Twain wrote on Twitter/X. “Firstly thank you to Foo Fighters for inviting me on stage - you are all so generous and ridiculously cool. I am a huge rock fan.”

In a follow-up post, she continued, “My first band was a rock band, my first big producer was one of the worlds renowned rock producers, me and my son like to rock out. Totally worth the adrenaline fuelled run from my stage to yours Dave Grohl - you are a true friend and talent”.

In July, Shania Twain announced a super-deluxe reissue of her third album, Come On Over, celebrating its 25th anniversary and life-changing impact on her career.

Come On Over is remembered for its most successful singles, including You’re Still The One, Man! I Feel Like A Woman, and That Don’t Impress Me Much and remains the best-selling album by a female solo artist of all time.

The Australian store selling the Come On Over super deluxe reissued vinyl includes a blue 2LP edition (sold out) and a 3LP Diamond Edition ultra clear vinyl. You can order your copy here.
