Max Jackson has shared an adorable, extremely happy reaction to discovering that her music was played overseas.

The Aussie star revealed that her latest chart-topper, Little More Country, received airtime on Garth Brooks’ radio station, The Big 615. Sharing a delightful video on social media yesterday (15 January), Jackson started the clip by saying, “I am absolutely screaming because my song just got featured on Garth Brooks’ radio station, The Big 615 in Nashville!”

The video then fast-forwards to Australian singer and Brooks’ co-host Sinead Burgess introducing Jackson to Nashville listeners and a snippet of Little More Country on the air. Burgess also praised Jackson’s recent Little More Country series on social media, going on to call her “one of the kindest souls on the planet”.

Jackson captioned the video, “THE COOLEST THING EVER JUST HAPPENED! Huge thank you to Big 615 Radio, [co-host] Storme Warren & our Aussie girl Sinead Burgess! Life = Made!”

You can watch Jackson’s reaction video below.

Countrytown also praised Jackson’s Little More Country video series, complimenting her performances: “Somehow, by making the songs her own, it’s like we’re hearing newer (and better) versions of well-known tracks for the first time.”

Some of the songs covered include Working Class Man by Jimmy Barnes, Lose Yourself by Eminem, Stayin’ Alive by the Bee Gees, About Damn Time by Lizzo, Stand By Me by Ben E King, Paint It Black by The Rolling Stones, Lady Gaga’s Poker Face, and even more.

In November, Jackson was named an ambassador for the upcoming 52nd Tamworth Country Music Festival. Toyota Country Music Festival Manager Barry Harley said, “We’re excited to welcome Max Jackson as an ambassador, whose talent and sound is a refreshing and contemporary approach to Australian country music.”

Garth Brooks started The Big 615 last June, describing the radio station as a platform that offers an
“authentic take on country music that offers up the biggest songs and the biggest artists today”.

In a Facebook live stream, the country star continued, “Country music comes from other parts of the country, right? I’d love to hear what’s hot in Ireland. I’d love to hear what’s hot in Australia when it comes to country, that kind of thing. I love it. And I would love for something from here to come out of it, to where someone from Australia or Ireland to be nominated for the [Country Music Association Awards] or something.”

Warren quipped, “I mean, there’s a guy we talked about on the first big 20 countdown this weekend, Casey Barnes from Australia. He’s fantastic. I mean, he’s got everything. So, it’s going to be great to be able to celebrate artists from other parts of the country.”

Brooks agreed, “Whatever your device is, just ask for Casey Barnes.”
