Canadian singer-songwriter and actor, Mackenzie Porter will join Brad Paisley on his headline shows in Australian and New Zealand, alongside Morgan Evans, this September and October.

This tour will mark Porter’s first time touring Australia and New Zealand, which will also see her join Paisley, Evans, Kane Brown and more at CMC Rocks QLD and Paisley at Savannah In The Round on October 2nd.

Paisley’s concerts (with Porter) are scheduled at Brisbane’s Entertainment Centre on Monday 26 September, Melbourne’s Rod Laver Arena on Thursday 29 September, Sydney’s Qudos Arena on Wednesday 5 October and Auckland’s Spark Arena on Saturday 8 October 2022.

Local New Zealand country star, Kaylee Bell will make an appearance in Auckland only.

Since moving to the U.S. in 2014 from her native Canada, Porter has developed a radiant music style which threads the needle between traditional heart and modern energy.

She became the first female artist since Shania Twain (in 1998) to have three back-to-back #1 singles at Canadian Country radio in 22 years with About You, These Days and Seeing Other People in early 2020. She has also earned her first crossover Top 10 at Canadian Pop radio – a first since 2003 for a Country artist – with These Days (Remix), and joined CMT’s ‘Next Women of Country’ class of 2021. Porter has also shared the stage with Kenny Chesney, Rascal Flatts, Chris Lane, Blake Shelton and Walker Hayes.

While music is – and always has been – her greatest love, she's also built a successful career as an actor, which has allowed her a certain freedom to continue to develop her already substantial chops as a performer and songwriter. Even during filming for the popular Netflix sci-fi drama, Travelers, in Vancouver, Porter wrote whenever she could. She says, “We actually flew songwriters up from Nashville so I could do writing retreats. So I’d be on set for 16 hours and then go write songs, but I really function better creatively when I’m just go, go, go.”

Porter’s latest releases are Coming Soon To A Bar Near You, Pickup, Unlonely Me, Heaven Heard Me, and her single Thinking ‘Bout You with Dustin Lynch made history in April as the longest-running top 10 single on the Billboard Country Airplay Chart. The new music follows Drinkin’ Songs: The Collection – an arsenal of two years’ worth of music produced by Joey Moi
