Luke Combs and Brandi Carlile To Perform At The GRAMMY Awards

Luke Combs and Brandi Carlile are set to perform at the 2023 GRAMMY Awards.

Rapper Bad Bunny, Mary J. Blige, Steve Lacy, Harry Styles, pop powerhouse Lizzo, Sam Smith, and EDM hitmaker Kim Petras were also announced as performers by The Recording Academy.

“Oh, it is ON! I’m singing on the Grammys!! I’m just unspeakably grateful and currently brushing up on my power notes…let’s GO!” Carlile wrote on social media. “I’m excited to announce I’ll be performing on the @recordingacademy’s #GRAMMYs,” added Combs.

All of the performers announced thus far are nominated for awards at this year’s ceremony, with Carlile leading the pack with seven nods. She will return to perform at the GRAMMYs for the second year in a row, carried by her ‘Album Of The Year’ and ‘Best Americana Album’ nominated LP In These Silent Days. Her collaboration with Lucius, You and Me on the Rock, is up in the all-genre category of ‘Record of the Year’, among others. 

Combs is nominated for three awards, including ‘Best Country Album’ for Growin’ Up, ‘Best Country Song’ for Doin’ This and ‘Best Country Duo or Group Performance’ with Miranda Lambert for Outrunnin’ Your Memory

Other country artists who earned GRAMMY nominations include Lambert with four and Maren Morris and Willie Nelson with three each. Dolly Parton,Taylor Swift and Ashley McBryde, also earned two nominations each, plus Kelsea Ballerini, Ingrid Andress, Sam Hunt, Brothers Osborne, Ryan Hurd, Cody Johnson, Reba McEntire, Alison Krauss, Bonnie Raitt, Chris Stapleton, Zach Bryan, and Carly Pearce, earned a nomination apiece. 

The winners will be announced during the 65th Annual GRAMMY Awards, which will return to Los Angeles’ Crypto.com Arena on Sunday, February 5, 2023. Prior to the Telecast, the GRAMMY Awards Premiere Ceremony will be held at the Microsoft Theater and will be streamed live on GRAMMY.com and the Recording Academy’s YouTube channel.
