Loren Ryan has shared an image of the heartwarming moment of her daughter, Charlie, joining her on stage for the 2024 Toyota Star Maker final, where she performed as a special guest.

The sweet instant happened as Ryan performed her hit, Bounce Back. Charlie joined her mother on stage towards the end of the song, showing her confidence and future star power by singing into her mum’s microphone and even holding it herself, commanding the crowd with her presence.

Ryan’s smile was proud as her bandmates grinned from ear to ear at the surprise performance. Taking to Facebook, Ryan posted a picture of her performance with Charlie from Monday (21 January), with the caption, “Did anyone see this moment last night at the Star Maker Grand Final!

“My daughter Charlie joined me on stage for Bounce Back and absolutely stole the show.”

In addition to her stunning Tamworth performance, Ryan celebrated her birthday and the first day of the 2024 Tamworth Country Music Festival by unveiling her new EP, Homecoming, last Friday.

“To come home and launch my EP fills me with pride and excitement for a good time with all the people I love,” she explained in a press release. “It's my homecoming.”

In addition to her acclaimed singles Bounce BackSuddenly, and Take Me Home, the EP features new songs My Favourite Summer and Human. It was produced by Gavin Carfoot (except Bounce Back, which Gareth Hudson produced), mixed by Jared Adlam and mastered by Paul Blakey, with a co-writing credit from Melanie Dyer on Suddenly. In her statement, Ryan said she’s “so fortunate to be working with a great team”.

In a January 2023 interview with Countrytown, Ryan hinted at her daughter’s potential appearance on the stage, sharing: “She loves music. She's been singing on stage with me here and there and at a few gigs.

“I think she'll have a proper debut at the Tamworth Country Music Festival, where we're gonna work on a song together. She can get up on stage and sing; she'll be almost five years old. It’ll be good for her to make her little debut.”
