Kallangur, Queensland, country musician Josh Setterfield has just dropped his heartfelt new ballad, Feelin’ Love, providing the perfect lovelorn vibes for a spring day.

“One sleep til Feelin’ Love is here,” Setterfield posted on social media yesterday. “Both the song and music video. Here’s a peak. Can’t wait”.

A country-pop tune, Setterfield’s latest single finds him embracing the “boy meets girl” country music trope – in a good way. On Feelin’ Love, Setterfield sounds assured by switching between his commanding, raspy and radio-ready vocals.

You can listen to the single below and keep an eye out for the music video in the coming weeks.

Feelin’ Love captures the essence of curiosity, vulnerability, and the thrill of new love that could last a lifetime, and who doesn’t love that feeling?

Feelin’ Love arrives after Setterfield performed at this year’s Gympie Music Muster and ahead of the return to his Kinda World Tour, which continues at the Orpheum Theatre in Flagstaff, Arizona, on 28 September, and concludes at Live Laugh Love festival at The Ranch 2.0, Barrie, Ontario, Canada. This week, Setterfield makes his Nashville debut.

Earlier this year, Setterfield dropped the single Life Ain’t So Bad before he jetted off overseas. The song was written by Canadian songwriter Craig Brooks and produced over in North America by fellow Canadian Adam Newcomb.

Setterfield, once a pop-punk aficionado who spun the likes of RancidNOFX, and Good Charlotte, fronted the pop-punk band Call The Shots for seven years. Before they disbanded, their highlights included touring with The Offspring and Simple Plan.

Setterfield transitioned from pop-punk frontman to solo country entertainer in 2016. He has since released three EPs – Live It Up (2016), From Dusk (2017) and Till Dawn (2019), all of which debuted in the Top Five of the iTunes Country Music Charts and have accrued over one million streams.
