Hot 50 Chart: Move Over The Wolfe Brothers, There’s A New #1 In Town!

It has finally happened, as we all knew it would, James Johnston’s GOT IT GOOD has overtaken The Wolfe BrothersLivin’ The Dream, which falls into second after its six-week run atop the Countrytown Hot 50 Country Airplay Chart

This is the fifth number one for Johnston following his debut RAISED LIKE THAT, SMALL TOWN, COUNTRY BOYS and SAME SONGS duet with Kaylee Bell, which earned the pair the 2023 Golden Guitar Award for ‘Vocal Collaboration of the Year’.

Son Of A Sinner by Jelly Roll is at #3. Last Night by Morgan Wallen jumps an INCREDIBLE 35 spots into #4. At #5 is Pickup by MacKenzie Porter, followed by Street Called Main by Keith Urban (#6), One Thing At A Time by Morgan Wallen (#7) and Wait In The Truck by HARDY featuring Lainey Wilson (#8). LEAPING ahead an impressive 25 spots is Casey Barnes’ latest track, Summer Nights. His previous single Small Town rounds out the top 10.

Songs gaining momentum include You And Me And A Bottle Of Whiskey by Andrew Swift (#14), Small Town Friday Nights by Kaylee Bell (#18), Something In The Orange by Zach Bryan (#21) and Old Skoolin’ by Brad Cox (#22).  

However, a new heavyweight contender enters the ring with The Wolfe Brothers’ latest single, Here’s To The Ones debuting at #29. Other new entries include Buy You A Drink by Tim Hicks, Austin Burke and Southbound xo (#38), Take A Minute by Ashleigh Dallas (#39), No Horse To Ride by Luke Grimes (#43) and the controversial Jesus Year by Melody Moko (#45) – read more here.
