Is it your dream to perform at Queensland’s Gympie Music Muster? Your dreams could come true at the 2024 edition of the festival with Artist Applications open now.

Organisers behind next year’s Gympie Music Muster have unveiled the expansive Artist Application form, which requires your personal details, rider notes, a short bio, links to your social media platforms with videos of you performing, fees and availability over the four-day festival (22-25 August 2024) as well as the pre-Muster days (17 to 21 August 2024), camping and accommodation needs, and 100 words or less on why you want to perform at the Gympie Music Muster.

You can apply for your chance to perform at the 2024 Gympie Music Muster here. Applications close on Friday, 20 October. Organisers note that they take the time to review every application they receive carefully, and they likely receive thousands, so be patient if you’re new to applying for Gympie.

This year’s Gympie Music Muster was a roaring success, breaking its attendance record as thousands of punters saw Australian-born, Nashville-based singer Morgan Evans.

The impressive feat was achieved despite a massive act like Wolfmother abruptly cancelling their appearance on Saturday (26 August) - just one day before their headlining performance was due to take place.

“Last night we broke the attendance record at one of Australia’s longest running Music Festivals and had the time of our lives doing it,” Evans wrote on Instagram. “The love you guys are showing us out here is overwhelming”.

“Cheers to Country Music, The Muster and everyone that came out this weekend. It’s good to be home”.

Just days after this year’s Gympie Music Muster wrapped, festival organisers began teasing the next edition of the festival, confirming their first three artists, James JohnstonBrad Cox and Lee Kernaghan, for 2024.

A few weeks ago, they added Beccy Cole and the Davisson Brothers Band to the line-up.

The 2023 Gympie Music Muster hosted over 100 country, blues, folk and Americana acts, including Busby Marou, Felicity Urquhart & Josh Cunningham, Kasey Chambers, Travis Collins, Casey Barnes, Hoodoo Gurus, Melinda Schneider and The Screaming Jets on Thursday and Friday.

Saturday was led by Adam Brand, Gina Jeffreys, the one and only Morgan Evans, and Troy Cassar-Daley. Lastly, Sunday was propelled by Brooke McClymont & Adam Eckersley, Midland, Sara Stoner, and The Wolfe Brothers.

Elsewhere on the line-up, The Angels, Hayley Jensen, Ash Grunwald, Emily Wurramara, Catherine Britt, Sammy White, Caitlyn Shadbolt, Melody Moko, Southbound xo and many more featured.
