More ERNEST More ERNEST

While recently opening for Morgan Wallen on his One Night At A Time world tour in St. Louis, Missouri, ERNEST lost his balance and fell completely off the stage, hitting the audience barricade.

In the video he shared on social media, ERNEST attempts to throw a long-stemmed rose into the crowd – something he often does during Flower Shops – but he slips and falls. Then, he makes a surprise recovery, quickly getting to his feet and throwing his hands into the air in a victory pose. “Athlete,” he captioned alongside the video on Instagram.

The video has so far received over 162k likes on Instagram and numerous comments.

Wallen wrote, “Stuck the landing,” while Mitchell Tenpenny commented, “This is why we went to Lipscomb. Reaction and Recovery 10/10.” Bailey Zimmerman added, “If ya ain’t here ya ain’t livin,” and Jelly Roll said, “Oh this is going big viral.”

Fellow artists Hannah Dasher, Lady A’s Charles Kelly, MacKenzie Porter, Brooke Schubert, Riley Duckman, Parker McCollum, Nelly, Travis Denning and more also commented.

ERNEST shared a second video from a different angle. “P.S. I’m fine,” he captioned. He later added, “To be clear…. I have not a scratch or a bruise….”

After writing songs for Wallen, Jake Owen, Sam Hunt, Florida Georgia Line, Thomas Rhett and Chris Lane, ERNEST signed a recording contract in 2019. He released his debut album – Locals Only – that same year, featuring the single I Think I Love You.

In 2022, he launched his debut single to country radio Flower Shops featuring Wallen becoming the #1 most added single of the week. The Top 20 track continues to make waves, hitting another benchmark with RIAA platinum certification. His full-length album of the same name – Flower Shops (The Album) – is out now, showing off the more classically country side of his craft.

Earlier this year, ERNEST released the expanded Flower Shops (The Album): Two Dozen Roses. With 13 additional tracks, it features Jake Worthington and Dean Dillon.
