Brothers Osborne, Old Dominion And More Added To CMA Fest

Nashville’s CMA Fest keeps getting bigger and bigger!

The Country Music Association has announced additional performers hitting the stage during the 49th edition of the country music festival taking place Thursday through Sunday, June 9-12.

Brothers Osborne and Old Dominion will take the Nissan Stadium main stage, while opening acts include Deana Carter, Sara Evans, Everette, Randy Houser, Angie K, Kylie Morgan and Shenandoah.

A newly announced Platform Stage, located in the centre of Nissan Stadium, will feature performances from Priscilla Block, Madeline Edwards, Kat & Alex, Maddie & Tae, Frank Ray, Lily Rose, and Dylan Scott.

Brittney Spencer will welcome the Nissan Stadium crowd Thursday night (June 9) with a performance of the National Anthem.

Russell Dickerson will kick off the CMA Close Up Stage Thursday as the Artist of the Day at Fan Fair X. Additional acts added to the CMA Fest line-up include Ryan Charles, Brooke Eden, Mae Estes and Ella Langley. Eden also kicks off the Chevy Riverfront Stage Thursday morning performing the National Anthem.

Alan Jackson will no longer be performing.

Previously announced Nissan Stadium performers include Jason Aldean, Kelsea Ballerini, Gabby Barrett, Dierks Bentley, Kane Brown, Luke Bryan, Luke Combs, Lady A, Parker McCollum, Carly Pearce, Thomas Rhett, Darius Rucker, Cole Swindell, Carrie Underwood, Keith Urban, Lainey Wilson, Zac Brown Band and more.  

CMA Fest is one of the oldest country music festivals after starting in 1972 as Fan Fair and renamed in 2004. In addition to hours of live music, the event offers fans a variety of unique opportunities to experience their favourite artists, including autograph signings, celebrity sports competitions and interactive exhibits. The annual June event runs over four days, with over 400 artists and celebrities participating in the festivities.

The festival attracts numerous international and out-of-state visitors and brings in close to $60 million in revenue each year, with a percentage going to charity. In 2011, the total combined attendance was estimated to have exceeded 250,000 people at ticketed events and in free areas.
