Brandi Carlile, Bonnie Raitt And All The Winners From The 2023 Grammy Awards

The stars were out this weekend for the glitz and glamour of the 65th Annual Grammy Awards, held at Los Angeles’ Crypto.com Arena on Sunday, February 5.

In terms of country, blues and Americana artists, Brandi Carlile led with seven nominations, followed by Miranda Lambert with four and Maren Morris, Luke Combs and Willie Nelson with three each. Dolly Parton, Taylor Swift and Ashley McBryde, earned two nominations each. 

Brandi Carlile, Bonnie Raitt and Willie Nelson were all multiple award winners. 

Carlile was awarded ‘Best Americana Album’ for In These Silent Days and both ‘Best Rock Song’ and ‘Best Rock Performance’ for Broken Horses

Raitt took home ’Best Americana Roots Song’ and ‘Song of the Year’ for Just Like That as well as ‘Best Americana Performance’ for Made Up Mind.

Nelson got the ‘Best Country Solo Performance’ award for Live Forever and ‘Best Country Album’ for A Beautiful Time. Cody Johnson’s ‘Til You Can’t was awarded ‘Best Country Song’, and Taylor Swift’s ten minute All Too Well: The Short Film nabbed ‘Best Music Video.’

Meanwhile, not only did this year mark Carly Pearce’s first Grammy nomination, but she and Ashley McBryde also took home their first ever wins. They were awarded ‘Best Country Duo/Group Performance’ for Never Wanted To Be That Girl.

Pearce wrote on social media, “WROTE A REAL COUNTRY SONG WITH MY FRIEND AND WE WON OUR FIRST GRAMMY. I have no words. Zero. None. More later. I love you @ashleymcbryde.”

McBryde added, “First times only happen one time, and today marks my first time. Congratulations Carly girl, we did it. #holyshit.”








Luke Combs, Brandi Carlile and Chris Stapleton performed. Kacey Musgraves gave a heartfelt performance celebrating the life and music of the late Loretta Lynn, while Bonnie Raitt joined Sheryl Crow and Mick Fleetwood in a performance honouring Fleetwood Mac’s Christine McVie.
