Country music duo BOWEN * YOUNG – comprising Australian singer-songwriter and actor Clare Bowen and American musician Brandon Robert Young – have announced an intimate January 2024 Australian tour.

Playing acoustically throughout Geelong, Melbourne, Castlemaine, Sydney, Newcastle, Tamworth, Wollongong (Bowen’s hometown) and Brisbane, the pair will be promoting their upcoming debut album, Us. You can find tickets to all their shows at 8 am on Friday, 24 November, via their website.

“I’m so excited to be coming back home for the first time in four years, to reconnect with all my fans in Australia and share this new music with them,” Bowen commented in a press release. “I can’t wait for this tour, to see all my friends and family and make some amazing memories with you on these shows.”

Young added, “Touring Australia with Clare has been some of my favourite moments playing music. Since we first wrote these new songs together, we’ve been counting the days til the stars aligned for us to get back down under and share them with everyone. It’s going to be something special.”

BOWEN * YOUNG formed in 2013 when the latter joined Bowen on stage as the last-minute replacement for her no-show duet partner at her first solo set at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena. The pair got engaged in 2015 – during their Grand Ole Opry set at the Ryman Auditorium – and were married at the Cash Cabin by John Carter Cash in 2017.

Clare’s brother, Timothy James Bowen, and AIR-nominated artist Imogen Clark will join BOWEN * YOUNG at all shows.
