Four-time CMAA Golden Guitar Award winner, Ashleigh Dallas and her husband, Chris have welcomed their second child, a daughter.

Lillian Clare Dallas was born on May 31, 2022.

The couple – who are already parents to three-year-old Harriet Lynn – announced her birth on social media on June 4, along with a series of photos and videos set to Luke O’Shea’s Begin & End In Love.

Dallas wrote, “A pure little sweetheart who has intensified love in our family beyond measure. How blessed are we to have two beautiful daughters filling our world with sunshine - Harriet and Lillian our entire world.”

The announcement, posted on both Facebook and Instagram, received an outpour of well wishes from fellow Australian country music artists, including Fanny Lumsden, Felicity Urquhart, Jasmine Rae, Hayley Jensen, Lyn Bowtell, Amy Sheppard, Andrew Swift and more.

In December, Dallas announced her family of three was set to become a family of four in 2022.

Dallas is third generation in a country music family dynasty. Born in Australia’s Country Music Capital of Tamworth NSW, the CMAA graduate grew up listening to the musical sounds of her family – Roll of Renown recipient and Golden Guitar winner, Rex Dallas and Golden Guitar winner, producer and multi-instrumentalist father, Brett Dallas. She began violin lessons at the age of 6, and learned to play acoustic guitar, mandolin, ukulele, and banjo and started songwriting as a teenager.

Her latest album Reflection was released in 2019 and followed 2015's Otherside ofTown and her award-winning 2017 album Lighthouse, which debuted at number two on the ARIA Country Charts just below Keith Urban. The following year, Lighthouse was awarded the inaugural ‘Traditional Country Album of The Year’ Golden Guitar, which also saw her father and producer Brett Dallas recognised with a Golden Guitar Award – making Australian Country Music History as the first family who shares 3 generations of Golden Guitar Awards.

Since the age of 16, Dallas has been a proud ambassador for the music festival Tunes In The Tropics. In the 10 years of the trip, Dallas has been a part of raising money for the local Fijian Community and local schools while sharing her songs to the festival goers and local families.

Her new album is slated for release later this year, and will feature the singles Couldn’t Keep Up and Good & Bad Days.
