Hosted by Luke Bryan and NFL Hall of Famer Peyton Manning, the 56th annual CMA Awards made its grand return to Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena on November 9, honouring musical legends, showcasing emerging artists, highlighting unforgettable collaborations and, of course, bringing glam and fashion, darling, to the red carpet!

Kelsea Ballerini and MacKenzie Porter wore the same long-sleeved, bright blue dress by Balenciaga, Lainey Wilson walked the red carpet with her dad Brian, while Brothers Osborne’s John Osborne announced he is expecting twins with wife, Lucie Silvas. Australian sibling trio, The Buckleys fulfilled their dream of attending their first CMA Awards, and Morgan Wallen returned to the awards one year after being banned following the use of a racial slur.

Maren Morris skipped the red carpet after saying in September she might skip the show due to her ongoing feud with Jason and Brittany Aldean, in which she called Brittany “Insurrection Barbie” for having made harmful, transphobic comments. Morris (and her husband Ryan Hurd) did show up just in time for the ‘Album of the Year’ announcement, giving winner Luke Combs a standing ovation, and then left. Her most recent album Humble Quest was nominated.

For a second consecutive year, Luke Combs took home ‘Entertainer of the Year’. First-time winner tonight, Wilson took home ‘New Artist of the Year’ and ‘Female Vocalist of the Year’, while Stapleton became the fifth most-winning artist in CMA Awards history with his ‘Male Vocalist of the Year’ win.
