ABC Country and ABC Local Radio have announced changes to their Saturday Night Country programming, making it even easier for the Beccy Cole-led program to reach more listeners.

From this Saturday (3 February), Saturday Night Country will air an hour earlier from its 10:05 pm (AEDT) timeslot. The program will now air from 9:05 pm across the ABC’s digital radio station, ABC Country and ABC Listen.

In addition to the new running time, the first hour of Saturday Night Country will be simulcast live nationally throughout ABC Local Radio capital cities. Look below for a rundown of the new times.

Countrytown has a partnership with ABC Country, where we share songs for its Grass Roots program and platform the newest independently released Australian music.

In May 2024, Beccy Cole will perform at the inaugural Melbourne Muster alongside local country and rock heroes, such as Lee Kernaghan and Amber Lawrence, rock band Hoodoo Gurus, Joe Camilleri & The Black Sorrows, Kingwood, Andrew Swift, outlaw country artist Gareth Leach, Perth-based Jonny Reid, Taylor Sheridan, and more.

For over 30 years, Cole has thrilled audiences with her unique brand of music. The South Australian star’s warmth, husky tones, sense of humour, and hundred-watt smile have helped make her one of the nation’s most celebrated and beloved artists.
