He says of the track, “I wrote the songs on the album from a personal place. This one is not an exception. We’ve all got that person who’s no longer in our lives but yet we can’t seem to escape them. You are forever tied together. I’m so happy to have Delaney sing on this one with me. Having a vocal partner to get intertwined with adds even more emotion to the song which I love!”

Thomas Rhett - Slow Down Summer

Thomas Rhett has dropped his latest single, Slow Down Summer. Set in a small country town, the song captures a sweet summer love that the young couple at the forefront hopes doesn't fade with the season. He recently celebrated his 18th number one hit with Country Again, the title track of his latest album, Country Again: Side A. He’s working on Side B, which is expected to be released later this year.

Courtney Keil – Little Heartbreak

Courtney Keil continues her ascendancy as one of the best new talents on the Australian country scene with her latest single. Working with Rod McCormack at his Music Cellar studio on the NSW Central Coast, Little Heartbreak is a bouncy and upbeat song that cleverly hides the pain within the lyric.

She says, “This song is inspired by the challenges of dating and facing ‘little heartbreaks’. Events build on each other: the ‘what if’s,’ first date failures, falling for someone then being rejected. Our main focus can be on major losses, long term relationship breakdown, and divorce which can underscore the pain and heartache of an ongoing dating cycle.”

Billie-Jo Porter – Eyes Wide Open

Billie-Jo Porter returns with her uplifting new single Eyes Wide Open. It follows on from her highly successful debut single Feels Like Us which peaked at #1 on the AMRAP Regional Chart, #2 on the iTunes Singer/Songwriter chart and #15 on the Countrytown Music Network Hot 50 Country Airplay Chart. Produced by Shane Nicholson, Eyes Wide Open is an upbeat beach-boho, live-and-let-live anthem and a bouncy reflection on the unexpected directions life can take you.

She says, “It’s a story about being mindful, and allowing ourselves to live fully in the present moment. That is one of the greatest and most magnificent gifts we ever can give to ourselves … No matter what happens along life’s journey, I learned that I need to follow my own path and make decisions based on what feels right in that moment.

Taylor Moss – Get It Girl

One for the ladies, the confessional, power anthem, Get It Girl speaks of a different kind of unconditional love – the unspoken language and innate understanding shared between a woman and her girlfriends. Lyrically, the track celebrates the female relationships that have shaped, grounded and comforted Taylor Moss through the highs and lows and have grown her into the person she is today.

Cassidy-Rae - Amazing

Amazing follows country-pop singer-songwriter, Cassidy-Rae’s previous singles, Meant To Be, Dose Of You and Cheers Y’All, which all debuted at number one on the iTunes Country Charts. Amazing also charts at #6 on the All-Genres iTunes Charts. Dedicated to the health workers that are truly amazing, this track is once again produced by Sydney’s Love HZ Studios renowned producer Michael Carpenter.

According to Cassidy-Rae, “Amazing is dedicated to the unsung heroes, the healthcare and frontline workers who risked their lives every day during the pandemic to keep us safe.”

Brad Butcher – Cutting Peoples Grass

Cutting Peoples Grass is the first single from Brad Butcher's 5th studio album and is a humorous tongue-in-cheek touch on this new COVID reality we live in. Cutting peoples grass is exactly where he found himself when the music industry shut down, mowing lawns to make ends meet for most of 2020. Fun fact about this video - there's 27 current Australian artists and record producers mentioned throughout the clip, can you pick them all?

Jordan Merrick – Waiting Blues

Jordan Merrick, with his beating folk-roots heart and gallant command of lyrical storytelling, has answered the irrefutable call of the blues, revealing his highly anticipated sophomore album, Waiting Blues. The8-track unconventionally poignant pandemic album, journeying through the stages of isolation, fear, loneliness and longing that arise during times of shared pandemonium.

He says, “Waiting Blues is asking the question of listeners – do you want to wait for change, pray to God and reminisce on times gone, or do you want to fight for the life you want and make your own change?”

Tenille Townes – Villain In Me

Recently, Townes was recently announced as one of the performers set to rock the 2021 CCMA Awards (of which she is nominated), along with Lindsay Ell, Dustin Lynch, MacKenzie Porter, Dallas Smith, Tyler Joe Miller, Jess Moskaluke and others. Following on from the release of the powerful and inspiring music video for her song, Girl Who Didn’t Care, Tenille Townes has released her most personal song yet titled Villain In Me.

She says, “Villain In Me [is] the most personal thing I have ever written … anyone else feel this way?”

Ryan Daykin – Broken Feathers

In his first release in nearly two years, Victorian singer-songwriter, Ryan Daykin releases Broken Feathers – one of the most fragile and poignant tracks in recent times. Produced by Matt Fell at LoveHz studios,Broken Feathers was co-written by Felicity Urquhart and is a hauntingly beautiful tale that explores the concept of heartbreaking loss, and learning to live in the aftermath.

He says, Writing Broken Feathers with Felicity was an experience I’ll never forget. We were sitting outside on camp chairs in the middle of Nundle, absolutely freezing and the wind was blowing – it really helped to set the scene of the song. I’d known Fliss for a few years, but this was the first time we had ever written together and I’m so proud of the special song we created – its quite a dark song but has some really beautiful metaphors”.

Jake Banfield – If I Were You
