Urban Muster, a brand-new country and blues music festival is set to launch on Ekka Show public holiday eve (Tuesday, August 10) at The Fortitude Music Hall in Brisbane.

With a line-up that boasts four ARIAs, five Golden Guitars and six AIR awards, Urban Muster will feature an impressive cross-section of blues, country, folk and Americana music, played across two stages.

Leading the line-up is bluesy banjo slinger and expert storyteller C.W. Stoneking, returning to Brisbane with his genre-bending blend of everything from 1920s pre-war blues to hokum, country, and jazz. Joining him is Sydney-based folk group, All Our Exes Live In Texas. Country artists Fanny Lumsden, Wagons, Ruby Gilbert and Camping are also jumping on board to provide the evening's soundtrack.

The fun continues at the official after party upstairs at The Outpost, featuring four-piece band, The Wet Whistles and drinks special all night.
