As well as the televised performances, those in Victoria can attend the live Music From The Home Front concert happening on April 24 at the Sidney Myer Music Bowl, where Amy Shark, Bliss n Eso featuring Kasey Chambers, Budjerah, Jerome Farah, Lime Cordiale, Mia Wray, Tash Sultana, The Rubens, Vance Joy and the Royal Melbourne Hospital Scrub Choir will perform.

Founded by the late Michael Gudinski, 2021 marks the second year of Music From The Home Front. The event was first held on April 25, 2020 and paid tribute to Australia and New Zealand Army Corps and workers at the frontline of the COVID-19 pandemic response. The 3 ½ hour broadcast was viewed by over 1.4 million Australians and was the most watched program of the night on Australia’s free to air multi channels and subscription channels. A compilation album of the same name was later released in June.

2021 again sees Music From The Home Front partnering up again with the charity Support Act. Fans can buy special event merchandise – either in person at the Bowl, or online – and 100% of profits will go to helping Australian artists, crew and music workers through the charity, Support Act.

Clive Miller, CEO of Support Act says, “Last year’s event was a rallying call for everyone working in live music to have hope and optimism for the future, while remembering all those who served in defense of our nation. This year the message has added poignancy and Support Act is delighted to once again be the beneficiary of proceeds, which will support our efforts to provide crisis relief and mental health and well-being support for music workers who are doing it tough.”

Catch Music From The Home Front in person at the ticketed Sidney Myer Music Bowl concert in Melbourne, or watch the broadcast from anywhere in Australia from 7.30pm on Channel 9 and 9Now, or stream it globally via YouTube (7.30pm AEST).
