Morgan In Control: Hot 50 Dominance as Luke Combs, Melanie Dyer, Hinterland, Kacey Musgraves Make Moves

With Morgan Evans seemingly cemented into the top spot, this weeks' Hot 50 chart has the next generation of contenders making moves. James Johnston is once again the bridesmaid coming in at #2 as he continues to chip away at Morgan's lead, while Luke Combs jumps up six places to land in the #3 spot.

With new entries to the top 20 from Melanie Dyer, Kacey Musgraves and Hinterland, as well as Callista Clark knocking on the door, next week's challengers are lining up.

It's a big week for Savannah In the Round which kicks off in Cairns next Friday, with this week's chart stars James Johnston, The Wolfe Brothers, Hinterland, Casey Barnes and Busby Marou all taking the stage (there's still some tickets left, so hop a flight!).

It's also been a big week of new entries with Laci Kaye Booth (who we featured this week!), Paul Kelly, Vika + Linda and Lukas Nelson and Promise of the Real making appearances with their new hits for the very first time. For Vika + Linda it's been a big couple of years, achieving their first ARIA #1 album and looking at a strong showing in today's ARIA list for their new album. Not traditionally embraced by the country scene, it's great to see Australian music royalty crossing over to our side of the fence!
