23 February 2021 | 4:43 pm | Mallory Arbour

Hannah Dasher recently signed to the Sony Music Nashville and was named in CMT’s Next Women of Country 2021. Her track Left Right is our song of the day!

Hannah Dasher is a new addition to the Sony Music Nashville family. Earlier this year, she was named as one of CMT’s Next Women of Country class of 2021, in continuation of the network’s ongoing efforts to champion female talent.

Her latest track Left Right, showcases her ability to blend vintage, traditional southern country with a modern twist, as well as her bubbly charisma, and is our Song of the Day!

Described as “combining Miranda Lambert’s swagger, Duane Allman’s chops and Tom Petty’s knack for a hook” by Rolling Stone, Left Right was co-written with Brandon Hood and Wynn Varble.

Growing up reading album covers front-to-back as a child in Savannah, Georgia, Hannah moved to Nashville with a music business degree and a dream. She eventually landed her first publishing deal, and her first cut, Brad Paisley’s Go To Bed Early, on which she also sang the harmonies.

She says she knew she wanted to be a entertainer at three-years-old after seeing Alan Jackson in concert.

Hannah says on her website, “I remember to this day what he had on, what he ended with...it just made such an impression on me. That’s what I wanted to do. I’ve never missed watching a CMA Awards in my entire life. It was the only night of the year I was allowed to stay up past my bedtime. I guess I’ve just always known.”

Hannah earned critical attention for her previous releases, including Girls Call The Shots, The Tree and Stoned Age. She also recently surpassed one million followers on TikTok for her viral ‘Stand By Your Pan’ series, where she whips up traditional Southern recipes with a twist.
