Kasey Chambers offering free EP production to one lucky fan

Kasey Chambers is giving one songwriter, artist or musician the chance to have an EP recorded and produced by Chambers and Brandon Dodd at their brand-new one-of-a-kind boutique recording studio, The Rabbit Hole Recording Studio for free.

The lucky winner will also receive a spot at her new Creative Music and Songwriting Day Camp she is starting up at her Music Retreat.

She shared on her Facebook, “ATTENTION-SONGWRITERS, ARTISTS & MUSICIANS!! We’ve had a tough couple of years hey!! My heart goes out to all my fellow songwriters, artists & musicians but especially the new ones starting out in this difficult time … so I’d like to pay it forward & bring some joy to an aspiring artist/songwriter in the music industry by giving away … THE MAKING OF YOUR EP FOR FREE … along with a CREATIVE MUSIC & SONGWRITING DAY CAMP with me FOR FREE!!”

She continued, “I’m creating this GIVE AWAY as the GRAND OPENING of our brand-new RABBIT HOLE RECORDING STUDIO & MUSIC RETREAT!!! We have spent the last 6 months building the new Rabbit Hole Recording Studio & creative music space for recording & exclusive creative music workshops on the Central Coast-NSW set on 2.5 acres of private bush land.”

To enter, persons must be over 16-years of age and send in a video performing an original song. Details on how to enter are available on the @therabbitholerecordingstudio Instagram page. Terms and conditions are available here.

Entries open from Friday, October 1 and close on Friday, October 15, 2021 at 8.30am, with the winner personally chosen by Chambers herself.

In November 2018, Chambers was inducted into the ARIA Hall of Fame and has won an additional fourteen ARIA Music Awards with nine for ‘Best Country Album’. She is the recipient of nine CMAA Golden Guitar Awards, plus, five of her twelve studio albums have reached No. 1 on the ARIA Albums Chart – Barricades & Brickwalls (September 2001), Wayward Angel (May 2004), Carnival (August 2006) Rattlin’ Bones with Shane Nicholson (April 2008) and Dragonfly (January 2017).

Her latest album, Campfire (with the Fireside Disciples) took home the 2019 Golden Guitar for ‘Traditional Country Album Of the Year’ as well as the 2018 ARIA for ‘Best Country Album.’ It features the singles The Campfire Song and Goliath Is Dead.
