Multi-platinum entertainer, Jason Aldean has teamed up with seven-time Grammy award winner, Carrie Underwood in the new heart-pounding duet, If I Didn’t Love You. It’s our Song of the Day!

The song, produced by Michael Knox and written by his bandmates Kurt Allison and Tully Kennedy alongside John Morgan and Lydia Vaughan, is the first single off Aldean’s upcoming 10th studio album.

Aldean says, “We were pretty close to finishing up this album, but this song came in and we knew we had to record it. I went ahead and put my vocals down while we asked Carrie in the meantime. Luckily, she loved the song and it was kind of like a rocket from there. She did her thing like only Carrie can ... and I don’t know how, but she made it sound even better than what we expected. It’s a really special song to start this album."

This is the first time Aldean and Underwood have recorded together. Aldean previously recorded the genre-breaking hit, Don’t You Wanna Stay with Kelly Clarkson, as well as Drowns The Whiskey with Miranda Lambert, and The Only Way I Know with Luke Bryan and Eric Church.

Additionally, Aldean has the most Top 10 song on Billboard's Hot Country Songs chart, more than any other artists, since making his chart debut in 2005. He recently launched his latest collaboration, Wolf Moon Bourbon, an 80-proof bourbon that has been distilled from Midwestern grains and aged for four years offering a finish of caramel, oak, and spice.

Underwood previously teamed up with Brad Paisley on Remind Me, Keith Urban on The Fighter, John Legend on Hallelujah and David Bisbal on Tears Of God, among others. Most recently, she collaborated with NEEDTOBREATHE on their song I Wanna Remember, while the group’s lead singer Bear Rinehart sang on Nothing but the Blood of Jesus on Underwood’s My Savior album.

She rose to fame after winning the 2005 season of American Idol, and has since gone on to sell more than 64 million records worldwide and had 3 ARIA top 10 albums, including her seventh album Cry Pretty, which peaked at #4 on the ARIA Albums Chart. She has won over 100 major awards, and, as of 2020, is the only female to ever win ‘Entertainer of the Year’ three times at the ACM Awards.

As well as her music, in 2015 she launched her fitness and lifestyle brand, CALIA by Carrie Underwood and in 2020, published her first book, ‘FIND YOUR PATH: Honor your body, fuel your soul, and get strong with the fit52 life’ as well as the fitness app, fit52 in the same month.
