Casey Barnes remains on top again of the Countrytown Music Network Hot 50 country airplay chart. This marks the second consecutive week and an overall total of five weeks on top for Come Turn Me On. This Is Us by Southbound moves into #2, ahead of Dan + Shay (#3) and Minimum Wage by Blake Shelton (#4). Forever After All by Luke Combs comes in at #5, with Cass Hopetoun behind him at #6.
Jordan Davis makes his first appearance with Lose You in the Top 10 at #7, up from #21 last week – you can read our recent interview with him here. These Days by Canada’s MacKenzie Porter moves back into the Top 10, coming in at #8, ahead of Jake Owen’s Made For You. Rounding out the Top 10 is no body no crime by Taylor Swift feat. HAIM.
Some big movers on the chart this week, notably I Am Woman by Amber Lawrence and Catherine Britt, which jumps twenty places into #20. Ryan Hurd and Maren Morris’ Chasing After You leaps an impressive seventeen spaces into #30, and Back Home Again by Jason Owen feat. Tania Kernaghan moves up ten into #39. There was also some slight movement from the Wolfe Brothers and LOCASH, now sitting at #27 on only its second week on the chart.
While there is only one re-entry, which is Heart On Fire by Eric Church at #47, there were plenty of new entries, the highest being Blake Dantier with Last Call at #16 – read his Front Deck Boom Box feature here. Unfaithful by Darlinghurst makes it debut at #25 (we premiered the music video here) as does Brock Colley with No Mascara at #29, Maddie & Tae’s Woman You Got (#34) and Reality Is by Chris Tamwoy (#35).
Other new entries include the swampy, soulful, Karma by Hayley Jensen (#37), Whatever by JD Reynolds (#38) and Heaven On Dirt from Australian-Canadian country singer, Gord Bamford (#42). Sammy White‘s Running Away Tonight (#43), Movin’ On by Casey Burgess (#44), I Wanna Remember by NEEDTOBREATHE feat. Carrie Underwood (#46), Flying by Michael Waugh (#48) and The Bloomvilles feat. Jack Jones’ Real This Time (#49) also debut.
